How to use this template?
First of all download this template in your local computer and open it using MS Excel software. You will see the file open on your computer having the same layout as shown above.
This template is designed to keep maintenance record of two vehicles at the same time. If you have two vehicles in your use then the default settings are already done for you. However, if you possess only one vehicle still the template is for your use. In this case, simply ignore the values for VEHICLE 2 in the list.
Now get started with the things. Write vehicle(s) name(s) you possess at the place given after the heading. For your convenience, we have already written HONDA and TOYOTA as a sample. You must write the exact name of the vehicle you own.
Do not alter any other value(s) as some of them contain formulas. At the top, you will see all the maintenance expense for each vehicle being added up for you.
Let say you get your vehicle repaired on 23/03/2019 so you will input all the relevant details of the repair for this date. This relevant detail is the AMOUNT that cost you for the repair. In case you have two vehicles you can select the vehicle from the drop-down in the VEHICLE column and where you get this vehicle repaired along with the description. In the last column don’t forget to add some important notes for this repair.
In this way, you can keep a record of all the maintenance done for your vehicle. Don’t forget to save the file after you make all the changes.
